Distribution System Service Restoration Using Electric Vehicles

Nowadays the utilization of Electric Vehicles (EVs) has greatly increased. They are attaining greater attention due to their impacts on grid at distribution level. However, increased need for electricity, EVs also used serve load in instance electrical failure systems. This paper presents a new approach service restoration method low-voltage network time power outage using existing available parking place. The objective function formulated here was constrained linear optimization model. It aimed develop priority-based scheduling residential user appliances while meeting all operational constraints if EV’s deficit hour outage. Weight factors were assigned various decide priority scheduling. To substantiate proposed methodology, day profile 20 kVA transformer feeding eight users is considered. tested during an hour-long scenario MATLAB and LINGO platforms, with four period. restored maximum appliances.
